Police in Georgia have arrested a construction trades school teacher charged in the shooting death of her 8-year-old son.
Melissa Houser, 43, was charged with second-degree murder Tuesday in the death of Andrew Meehan.
She is being held without bail.
The charges stem from a March 8 incident at the construction trades center in Smyrna, Ga., where Housers son Andrew, now 8, was shot multiple times and died.
Authorities have not released any other details of the shooting, but said the suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
Andrew Meeshan was shot and killed at a construction foreman’s school in Smyrina, Georgia, on March 8.
