Emre Ismael, who spent last season on loan at Southampton, is now back in Liverpool’s first-team squad for Sunday’s Premier League game at Crystal Palace.
The Senegal international, who scored against Arsenal on Saturday, said he has “full confidence” in manager Brendan Rodgers.
“I’m happy, I’m confident,” said Ismaal, who was linked with a return to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
But I know it’s a good squad and I think it’ll be a great match for the fans.””
It’s been a difficult season and I’ve been frustrated.

Ismael scored six goals and provided four assists in 27 appearances for the Saints last season.
He was one of a number of Southampton players linked with moves away from St Mary’s, with Saints manager Ronald Koeman keen to bolster his attacking options.
The 21-year-old has played in each of the Saints’ last three Premier League matches and impressed in the Champions League last 16, netting two goals and adding three assists.
